Which BMV would I need for this installation? 700 or 702?

Hi,

I'm having doubts if the BMV 700 would work for this installation. I have a 24v system with the following specs:

  • 12 - 2v 2000ah OPzV
  • 2 -3000w Multiplus
  • 18 405w solar panel array

Th connection of the batteries are shown in the picture attached. They all go to a negative and positive bus bar which are inside the white box shown in the picture. Having this bus bars requires that I install the 702 monitor? or would the 700 work? I'd rather use the 700 if it works with this system battery configuration.

A BMV-700 would work just fine.
For your installation, the BMV-702 offers battery midpoint Voltage measurement or battery temperature. The MultiPlus measures battery temperature also. If you don't need those extra features, then the BMV-700 is for you.

Love to see the connections on the other end of the batteries where the current takeoff is??

You could go to the bluetooth version for smartphone facilities? (712 smart)
