Hi Victron team - are you able to share the efficiency curve for the Multiplus-II 48/5000. I realise you have one for the 24/3000 in your whitepapers - a similar curve for the 48/5000 would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
Toby

Hi @Guy Stewart (Victron Community Manager) , mine is also a Multiplus-II 48/5000 and is now using the curve of 24/3000 to design the load pattern of the system in order to achieve the best efficiency as far as possible. It would be good if you can also provide the efficiency curve of Multiplus-II 48/5000.
Could you post the efficiency curve for the MultiPlus-II 48/5000?
Like I found in this document from 2018 for the MultiPlus-II 24/3000:
Output-rating-operating-temperature-and-efficiency.pdf
So far I could only find the efficiency curve for:
and:
in this document on the website (15-05-2018 Rev 04):
https://www.victronenergy.com/upload/documents/Output-rating-operating-temperature-and-efficiency.pdf
Is it possible to publish further documents on larger inverters?
I know that the curve might not differ much, but for larger system design, it would be useful.
MultiPlus-II 48/5000/70-50 efficiency curve
As promised, there ist the efficiency curve for discharging (DC -> AC)
Measurement DC: Victron Smart shunt (auccuracy DC-Power: ± 0.7 %)
Measurement AC < 16 A: Gossen Metrahit Energy (accuracy AC-Power: ± 0.7 %)
Measurement AC > 16 A: ELV Energy Master 2 (accuracy AC-Power: ± 1.5 %)
-> The efficiency accuracy is ± 1.4% < 16 A
-> The efficiency accuracy is ± 2.2% > 16 A
(The last 5 measurement points are probably a bit less accurate, because the measurement range of the ELV Energy Master was exceeded)
(You have to multiply the efficiency of each measuring point with the efficiency accuracy to get the actual efficiency error-range in %)
You can find the measuring points in the attatchment:

Also I measured the efficiency curve for charging (AC -> DC)
Measurement DC: Victron Smart shunt (auccuracy DC-Power: ± 0.7 %)
Measurement AC: ELV Energy Master 2 (accuracy AC-Power: ± 1.5 %)
-> The efficiency accuracy is ± 2.2%
(You have to multiply the efficiency of each measuring point with the efficiency accuracy to get the actual efficiency error-range in %)

Could you please share the Efficiency Curve for the MultiPlus-II 48/5000
Thank you in advance!
@Guy Stewart (Victron Community Manager) - we would also be interested in this curve.
Could you please share with us? Thanks in advance.
