My multiplus has started going straight onto float no matter how much I take out of my batteries.
My unit is 4 months old as is my bmv 712. My batteries are 2 weeks old are are 2v cells of 750amps flooded lead acid with a watering system.
As you can see I have not had the batteries long and the first couple of charges went ok but the last 2 went straight to float even though I had taken 275 amps out of them. I got around it by forcing absorbtion but I shouldn't have to do this! The repeat absortion setting is at 14 days and that's the only setting I can see that I dont understand, I am thinking it's for when you are on shore power to keep the batteries healthy? If that's the case what would make my multiplus go straight to charge?
