What is the difference between BMS 12/200 and Smart BMS 12/100

Hi @craigp Smart in the Victron products indicates the product has bluetooth connectivity and settings adjustment / monitoring can be done with an app on your mobile device. Benefits can be as e.g. with the smart battery protect much finer adjusments of voltages.

In addition to what @ejrossouw says, the 12/200 is connected on the negative side and the 12/100 is on the positive side.

My 12/200 connects to the positive side, so not sure what you mean.

There was an old non-smart 12-200 that was connected to the negative.
