Is the MPPT charge profile fully customisable for any type of battery chemistry?

It does support custom "user" charge profiles.
If you download the VictronConnect app. then you'll be able to explore for yourself using the demo devices in the Demo Library.
Choose a demo device and have a play with the settings to see if it will suit your needs.
