i don't run any inverter

i would like to run on the 12V batteries but i know (i think)that the raspberry pi B has to run on 5.1V with 2.5 Amp

Do you have a StepDown Dc to DC?

You need a step down converter like: HOMREE DC-DC Converter Step Down Module 12V to 5V Micro USB Output Buck Power Adapter https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MEESLZ6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_TDB0EbQ5Q7XQ8
