I have two 12v lithium batteries hooked up in series for a 24v system. On my BMV-712 what do I set my charged voltage at?
@JohnH, as specified in the user manual, your "charged" voltage should typically be 0.2-0.3v below your float voltage. A typical 12v nominal LFP battery floats at ~13.2-13.6v, so let's say 13.4x2-0.3v= 26.5v; I'd use that as a starting point and adjust from there as necessary or as defined by the float v of your particular batteries.
Thanks Justin, I’ll give that a go. My batteries didn’t come with details of the float voltage, so in the dark a bit.
