Is DMC GX still required for systems with Ve.Bus BMS for changing input current limiter?

Is the DMC GX still required for systems with a Ve.Bus BMS for changing the input current limiter?

The CCGX manual suggests that the DMC GX is still required if you have a Ve.Bus BMS:
From: https://www.victronenergy.com/live/ccgx:start#vebus_inverter_charger_monitoring
Are the current limit settings, which are now present in the CCGX, sufficient for for controlling input currents in systems with Ve.Bus BMS batteries without the need of a DMC GX?

Thank you,
Nate

Hi @Natebert,

As of Venus version 2.40 this limitation no longer exists, and you can adjust the AC input current limit of a MultiPlus that has a VE.Bus BMS on a GX device, without requiring the DMC.

The CCGX manual has since moved here, and been updated.

Note the limitation of being unable to turn on/off the MultiPlus via the GX device in a system with a VE.Bus BMS still exists, and that still requires the DMC.

Guy I've been told that you can still control the Multi on/off via the app though? Via the Ve.Bus Smart Dongle.

Any possibility of the on/off limitation being removed in a future firmware update when a ve.bus BMS is used in the system?
