Yes it is possible, Its a lot harder than with a GX device thats all
you would need a MK3 unit and you can set it up using VE config and then setup the assistants, if needed,
You will have to read up on the ways to do this on Victrons QA, I dont know what your controls are nor any other information so I cannot answer that question.
that being said the MPPT units communicate via VE direct and the Quattro mainly uses VE BUS , and analoge relays (On/OFF) you will have to work out someway to do the communications or use the remote on off on the MPPT units if the model you have has that option., everything is possible, it will just depend on how good you are at making the interfaces to the VE Direct units. using a GX is much easyer

Yes this is no problem, GX device just makes monitoring easier and provides some extra options.
Only when you have 'managed' batteries with CANbus bms communication to the Victron system, you need a GX device.
