No successful connection with VictronConnect yet.

I am on pins 2, 3 and 5 for gound of my DE9 on the laptop.

The green LED is on constantly with a blink about every 5 - 10 s or blinking when I disconnect.

Any ideas welcome.

Cheers

Wait. Have you connected the wires directly from the MPPT to the DE9 on the laptop?

The DE9 is RS232, the MPPT is 5V TTL. You need an RS232 to TTL converter like a MAX232 inbetween! Ideally you'd have a digital isolator too, like a SI8422

You really need the full 15M :D

I will look into USB to TTL then. Just realized that I have no DSUB on my non-XP machines and VictronConnect for XP is really outdated.
