we have a large motor home with a 5kva victron multi and 8 x 100w solar, Fisher Panda generator.
after the initial AGM batteries died we fitted 4x 230 AH sealed lead acid which are pretty useless as we rarely plug into the mains preferring to use solar.
Planning to change system to 4x Victron 200ah lipo 4 with all the bits needed to run these.
question, inverter and charger is seven years old and I can’t check the serial number without removing it so is it likely ok to charge the new batteries? The vehicle manufacturers say ok for lithium but I’ve read new Lipo ones require a different charge rate.. TIA ..Mark.
