Can a USB - HDMI adaptor be used to connect Touch 50 to a Venus GX

I am inquiring if the Vieus GX can be connected to the Touch 50 panel via a USB - HDMI adapter cable with the USB power cable from the Touch 50 then being plugged into the second USB port.


The other option is can we connect a tablet to the Venus GX via USB to USB 3 cable to display the Remote console on the tablet.

I don't think so.
1. the USB ports at the Venus GX are just simple USB 2.0
2. you need a driver for such an adapter and this driver is not implemented in Venus OS

But you can simply connect a tablet to the Venus' own WiFi and use 172.24.24.1 or venus.local to connect to the remote console with you browser.

Thanks for that. The tablet option is the way I was designing the system but I just wanted to see if we could connect directly.
