VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart Dongle dead after software update

Hi, my

VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart Dongle went dead after a software update, connected to a MPPT 75/15.

No sign of life, plugged and unplugged removed and reset power, no lights. Anyone got any ideas?

@Tex260Z, since all Victron equipment is protected by a 5-year warranty, I'd suggest that it would be a better idea to un-bin it and simply contact the dealer or distributor from whom you purchased the device to start a warranty exchange.

Replacement coming, meantime updated to SmartSolar model.

Never mind, seems it is a common failure, binned it.

What does "binned it" mean - throw it away? Were you able to get a replacement after your upgrade failed?
