I recently had my system installed. I noted that on my color control all is set to update to latest firmware, however I ran the check firmware using the vrm portal and found that there was a release for the mppt controller. Am I missing something should the color control not automatically update this based on settings
The CCGX checks and installs(if available and set to auto-update) only for updates for itself.
But I would recommend you to disable the auto-update function.
If you have an ESS with CAN-Bus batteries and the update fails (for whatever reason) it can happen that the batteries (and the whole system) will shut down.
