Bmv700 display is frozen

For two days our battery monitor bmv700 has been lit up and flashing between “0200ah” and “ _200 ah”. Its in setup mode. any attempts to snap it back into the regular mode arent working. Pressing + or - or ‘select’ flash up the part of the menu its stuck in “01 ba”. Holding down - or + or ‘select’ just scroll through the whole “01 battery capacity”. Nothing happens when we press or hold ‘setup’. Any advice? We didnt put it into this mode - so wondering if.. a fuse might be gone or some thing?

@Jude, any update? Have you tried restarting the display unit as @M.Lange suggested below?

At the first very first power up you get this screen to setup your battery capacity.
If you see 01 batt... a short press on setup should exit the setup menu.

If this doesn't help I would try to unplug and plug in again the RJ12 cable to force a restart.

Thank you - the setup button at the right moment didnt do the trick so im planning to find the rj12 cable when home in daylight, feeling hopeful!

Hey - unplugging and replugging the RJ12 cable has just brought back the same screen selection - stuck in the Setup of Battery Capacity. It there any other tricks that might snap it back to the main display?

If it has stuck at "setup battery capacity" it sounds like it needs to be setup again, before any useful info can be displayed/calculated. (other than voltage)
