Blank white window in Victron Connect Application

My battery monitor is connected to a computer in a remote location that I access with Remote Desktop. When I open the Victron Connect application all I get is a blank white window similar to this issue: https://community.victronenergy.com/questions/6314/empty-window-of-victron-connect-appin-windows-10.html

The problem is I use Remote Desktop to access the remote computer so switching graphics drivers isn’t a possibility.

I would love some advice as my battery monitor is pretty much useless without remote access. Thanks!

Hi @FoChap,

Can you please try one of the legacy/compatibility versions to see if there is the same issue?

That did it! Thank you. Anything missing from the older version?

(Windows 10) Hi, has anything happened here to fix this. I have two remote sites which when viewed directly VictronConnect worked fine but now away from site both locations only show the VC application as a white screen when using Anydesk or CRD. I can see that the Serial feeds are fine and the app responds to screen moves and closures (which suggests it is responsive) but it is not unusable. I have tried beta 3 as well as v5.47 but they all have the same issue. I did try the link above for a compatibility version (as I mainly need it to make remote changes) but that link no longer works. Looking at other unrelated app issues via 'google' I'm guessing it is the QT library behind the app that is having the issue and I am trying to see if I can disable hardware rendering which fixes other QT apps.
