Bluetooth dead?

I just replaced an MPPT 100/30 with a 100/50. The 100/30 worked fine. But I can't see the 100/50 in Bluetooth discovery.

I've used an iPhone, iPad, Android, all of which worked fine with the old controller. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling the apps, no luck.

I can see that it appears to be working, the Bulk light comes on when I apply power and then switches over to Absorption (batteries are fully charged).

Did I get a bad unit? Is there any other way to troubleshoot it?

Maybe you replaced a Smart Solar with a Blue Solar?

That seems to be what happened... I didn't realize there was a difference. Duh.

I should be able to add the Bluetooth dongle and get the same results, right?

Got it, and it's working fine. Thanks. That would have puzzled me for many more days, at a minimum.
