VRM with 4G Connections

I could use some clarification on the functionality of viewing a system on the VRM.

I see that in order to do so, the cerbo GX or other GX device (mine is cerbo in this case) needs to have some sort of internet connection as well as having 2 way monitoring enabled. If this were to go in a remote location such as on a vehicle where there is not access to stable wifi, then a 4G source of some sort needs to be installed.

What is the best way of doing this without the subscription of the Globolink. The Globolink seems like it would do the trick, but I do not want to have to bother with a subscription after 5 years to keep it operational. Would the GX LTE 4G provide 4G connection all the time with no subscription? Or am I misinterpreting the information and going about this the wrong way.

Thanks.

Plenty of 4G hotspots available which does the trick and provides access for any other wifi devices.

Im waiting on a Huawei E3372-325 to be delivered, to plug into the cerbos USB port. At its core the cerbo is a linux PC, so a large number of network devices (and devices in general) will work without the need for special drivers.

But this stick is not a mobile hotspot, it will only provide internet to the cerbo, not other devices over wifi

Sim card i got trough my mobile phone provider as an extra to my existing plan, data only with up to 0.5mbit/s

TP-link have a generic one M7350. Works well for me, has an easy to use app for configuring etc.

It has its own battery but can be USB connected to keep it powered. Benefit is it can be placed away from the cerbo for better signal.

Just with mobile use, set the cerbo to auto-reboot on lost connectivity after X minutes (vrm section).
