5kVA Multi II GX not eligible for UK fast track?

I am thinking of applying to NGED to be allowed more export, so looked at their web page here. Was surprised to see that although my device is recognised by the online data base it is not eligible for their fast track SGI-3 process.

Possible reasons given are

For a device to be eligible for the fast track application process it must meet the following criteria:

The device must fully type tested in the ENA Type Test register to G98 or G99.
The device must be considered Compliant or Minor Non-Compliant to G98 or G99 in the ENA Type Test Register.
The intrinsic design capacity of the device cannot exceed 7.36KW.

So what is the problem with the type testing/compliance? When I originally applied in May 2022 it was OK, what has changed since?

It does not currently have a G100 export limiting cerificate, so I suspect it could be it?

I since found the following on the ENA Type Test Register

1724829855176.png

And an explanation in this document:

Non-compliant for new installations: This compliance status introduced in September 2022 captures device registrations that were previously assessed compliant but where the device
doesn’t conform to requirements introduced in later issues of the standards. It was introduced for the Limited Frequency Sensitivity Mode – Over-frequency (LFSM-O) requirements that were implemented on 1 Sep 2022 but will also be used where future changes to the standards have the same impact on existing device registrations

So is that the whole story? I note that @ejrossouw's company still lists them for sale <g>, so presumably this model is now restricted to G98 for future installations? It has a significant niche as perhaps the smallest unit suitable for a whole-house system.

Given all this do I have any hope of getting DNO approval to uprate it to 4.4kW to run my new heat pump, or to export more than 16A?

The product is compliant VICEN/02559/V4/A1 (GB) as you can see from the new database if you scroll down. Also, the G98/G99 grid codes are now seperated, which means if you select G98, the inverter is a fully G98 compliant manufacturer limited 3.68kW system.

From an enquiry I made "When g100/2 is completed the g99 can be selected", hence my comment above.

Am more puzzled that ever bc there are no fewer than 7 entries - with identical descriptions - for this one product in the database linked to.

And also frustrated bc this forum doesnt reliably accept pix any more so I have lost a lot of text that I just wrote and can't post a pic demonstrating the above.

In a nutshell can I then make a new G99 application for a higher export limit under any file number that happens to be compliant, or does it depend on the build date (2021), mod state, firmware version or what? Is there some official table of guidance for all this?

TIA

@sharpener every application Ive done to UKPN I just submitted the latest ENA certificate and updated the multi’s firmware when the unit is installed. I know we haven’t got the same DNO but mine were all G99 applications as my solar took G98 so every application since has been made for G99

PS I would move to the new forum this one is painful now

Consider raising the question in this beta forum. where you can post images or use dropbox links or similar to post here. The link I posted is for the UK certificate as there is also a NI one. Older entries are historical so use the latest, which will show the firmware required. The guidance may still vary by DNO and their internal processes, but there is now a move towards automating the process and some already did or use ConnectDirect where you may find some information for installers.
