Multiplus 3000 and CCGX not working after prolonged storage

After 4 years of full timing in our 5th wheel with flawless operations from out Multiplus, BattleBorn, Solar panels, we have transitioned to 2-3 trips a year with a couple of months, storage in between.

I now have this problem.

The trailer is stored in coverage storage. I have 3 disconnect switches, 1 for the incoming solar feed, one for the feed from the batteries and one for the whole trailer. For storage all 3 are "Off" so the batteries are isolated, as well as the panels. The multiplus manual swithc is set to "charge", which is where it remains at all times when in use, and I control everything via the CCGX.

After being in storage 6-10 weeks, when I come back, the batteries still have charge ( confirmed via hand multi-meter on batteries ).

However, the CCGX will not control the Multiplus, not will the Multiplus react to changes in its manual switch state. Thus, I can get AC from the inverter, or pluc in shore power to charge or get AC.

To correct this, I have to take off the cover, disconnect the ethernet cable from the multiplus to the CCGX. Once that is done, the MultiPlus can be controlled by its manual switch. Then, with that active, I can plug the ethernet cable back in, and the CCGX comes alive and works as expected.

Am I putting it in storage incorrectly ? How can I avoid having to disconnect and reconnect the ethernet cable?

Have you tried redirect system in the settings?

I've found that powering the GX on and off helps.
