Have a 100|15 SmartSolar charger charging a 12v battery pack. Charges fine. Phoenix 12v | 350w connected to the load ports disables the load output. Disconnect the inverter and cycle power the SmartSolar charger; load output goes to 12v as expected. Connect Inverter directly to the battery, inverter works fine. What could be going on? Thanks so much for any help!
Hi Andrew. Victron don't recommend running inverters from the load terminals. Perhaps especially their own, which are heavily built and with a lot of capacitance aboard. Even when turned off, just hooking them up can easily exceed the capability of the load terminals. It often comes with a spark, such is the speed at which this happens.
There are workarounds, like a relay setup to the batt connection. I wouldn't bother myself, but your choice whether to head there if the load V-protection is an issue for you..

a very rough calculation
the inverter will draw at 12v 29 amp (350 watt / 12volt)
the max output on the load connection is only 15 amp
that’s why the SmartSolar Will disconnect the load.
