SmartShunt Charged energy does not match Solar yield from the Victon MPPTs

Trying to understand where all my solar yield is going .

Basically SmartShunt Charged energy does not match Solar yield from the Victon MPPTs.

Any input/advice greatfully recieved.

24 hours ago the smartshunt history tab stated:

Cumulative Ah drawn:-2579Ah

Discharged energy: 32.5kWh

Charged energy: 38.5kWh

Now it states:

Cumulative Ah drawn:-2736Ah

Discharged energy: 34.4kWh

Charged energy: 40.3kWh

The differences for the last 24 hours gives:

Cumulative Ah drawn:-157Ah

Discharged energy: 1.9kWh (similar to above as this is159Ah at 12V)

Charged energy: 1.8kWh

My 3x MPPTs state combined for yesterday they produced 3.36kWh

The manual states that Charged energy is: The total amount of energy absorbed by the battery in kWh.

Does this mean that my Victon AGMs (a little on the older side) are losing 1.56kWh per 24 hours in charging efficiency? ie a loss of 47%...

Or am i not understanding properly?

thanks

The SmartShunt doesn't count the energy that is directly used by any load connected to the system.

thanks but do you mean the smartshunt will not count the energy of any load that is not connected to the batteries via the smartshunt?

everyrhing is going through the smartshunt so therefore it should record the energy used?

If you installed the smart shaunt as per the instructions, then it is located between the battery negative and everything else, MPPTs, inverters, DC-loads.

If your MPPT charges with 10A but you also have a 10A DC-load, then theres nothing flowing trough the shunt to be measured by it
