Hello,
I have a system installed in my RV with Super-b LiFePO battery, Multiplus 12/3000, Mppt, SmartShunt and Cerbo gx. After some complications, the system works quite decently. However, I have a problem that I can't seem to fix.
the displayed voltage on the Muliplus (which I can see on the vrm) is consistently 0.4V lower than the voltage displayed by the Shunt, the independent battery display and my voltmeter (I took the measurement at the terminals of the Multi). in short, the installation is not the reason for the voltage difference in the display.
This means that Multi distorts the battery charging settings by 0.4 V. Until I lowered the charging voltage by 0.4 V in VEconfigure, the battery even reached over 15 V when charging.
Now the question: if he turns on the DVCC and in it only the SVS function (common voltage detection from the SmartShunt), is the battery charging protocol in the Multiplus preserved? Do the charging settings in the Multiplus remain unchanged and the Multi takes only another data about the battery voltage for processing?
Or does anyone have any idea why the Multi is showing 0.4V undervoltage in the first place?
thanks for your answers!
BR Tom
