VE. BUS Alarms

Hello, everyone.

I have 6 Quattro Inverters (2 Inverters/ Phase).

The system was running well for around 12 hours until 8 a.m., and after that, the alarm below had popped up, and inverters were not powering the loads.

Kindly note that after checking the loads, it turned out the loads' phases are imbalanced (the three phases have a diffence in currents, ph1 =19A, ph2 =30A, ph3 =40A).

Is this the possibility of this alarm to appear?

** VE.Bus Error: VE.Bus Error 3: Not all, or more than, the expected devices were found in the system

** Another Alarm, Low Battery Voltage while the batteries' SOC was 69%, so what is the reason of this case?

Note: the 6 inverters have the same parameters and have been set via the MK3 Adaptor alongside VE Cinfigurator.

Any support?

Thanks,

VE.Bus

@tareq

You need to identify which unit shut down. Usually it can only be done with the led lights on the units with unexpected shutdowns.

Likely you have a high resistance connection somewhere. Maybe a loose DC cable?

Unbalanced phases are not a problem, however unbalanced parrallel pairs on each phase are a problem.

So check the current share between the pairs ln each phase.

Thanks for your comment @Alexandra,

The DC connections were checked, and they are alright.

The system has been running since 8 p.m. to 8 a.m., and it seems that when the facility started their work, the inverters stopped delivering power.

Are the unbalanced load phases possible reason?

Thanks for your recommendations. However, the DC cables checked and the battery cablles were changed but we still have the same problem.

The alarm goes off and the system shuts down for a couple of minutes.

Any other solutions?
