Multiplus Power assist for DC charging

Hi,

I have three MultiPlus-II 48/5000/70-50 units connected to a three-phase system using ESS and DVCC. My battery bank can handle a charging current of 380 amps and my 3 phase solar inverter can provide up to 15 kW of power. Is it possible to add three additional MultiPlus units set to 'charging only' mode to manage the excess solar power when needed?

@Rafal

You an do so, but not as part of the current ve bus system and so the gx will have no control using DVCC.

You could possibly use node red. But i have no specific advice there as i have not personally tried it.

Thank you for the clarification.

To ensure I understand correctly, I would need to configure the three additional Multis in a separate VE.Bus system. Is it possible to connect two separate VE.Bus systems to a single Venus OS setup (I’m using a Raspberry Pi with an MK3 interface) by adding a second MK3 interface? Then primary system will run DVCC and secondary (charging only system) will be controlled by using VE.Bus system node in nodered?
I would like to minimize energy loss while there won't be enough solar power to feed all 6 chargers in their peak charge efficiency. Is it possible to enable the additional charges from node red on demand?
