Have seen many posts here about Multiplus I and IIs producing a buzzing or humming due to the toroidal transformer. We are considering changing our Phoenix charger / Mastervolt inverter setup to one in order to get the Cerbo integration, but worried about potential noise on our boat.
So, I thought I would start poll to see if “average” users hear a buzz/hum from their Multipluses, or if it’s a defect with only certain units… does yours?
They all hum, it is the design. More often when attached to grid, also depending on load.
But they are used in many boats and mobile installations..
Actually they hum because they don't know the words.
Mine Hum and buzz.
It also SHOUTS at me angrily in Dutch when I pull too much power out of it.
