Smart Solar MPPT 250/100

Am I pushing the limits of a 250/100 CC to far with 16x 400w [6400w] panels?

The Voc = 49.8V & Isc = 10.36A. They will be connected in 4 strings of 4 making the string sum of the voltage 200V and the current just under 42A.

I've been offered these panels at a good price and would love to use them.

Hi Tony, those will be fine - I have a few system with that configuration running just fine. Your max input current limit on that model is 70A, with 4 x strings of 4 you’d be sitting at roughly 40A on the input. The MPPT would probably limit a bit, at the 100A charging current limit.
