Help - Solar Stopped Charging. VE Smart Networking Problem ??

Morning All

Any help please... my Solar has suddenly stopped charging my batteries !! :-(

Setup.... LYNX Smart BMS, LYNX Distributors, Cerbo & Touch, 4x 330Ah Smart Lithium, 3x Battery Protects, 4 MPPTs, 1 Orion XS. A very standard setup, on a yacht, all firmware latest versions

History... all working fine for over a year. Suddenly yesterday afternoon all solar MPT is stopped charging the lithium. No alarms.

Problem... I sailed overnight and as the sun came up the solar started charging the batteries. This continued. Arrived in marina and before I slept for a few hours I checked the state of the batteries and they were still charging. I woke in the afternoon and noticed the SOC had not changed. Looking at VRM I noticed all MPPTs had stopped charging. Further investigation suggest it might be a problem with the VE Smart Network.

All devices on the VE Smart Network are showing... "This product is configured for VE.Smart Networking and is waiting for data"

All 4 devices (4x MPPTs and 1x Orion XS) are showing as in the same network. All 4 devises show the green tick and in range.

I've tried removing each from the network and tried to add them again - changes nothing.

Any ideas what the issue might be ?

Thanks

Tim

@Miya Further investigation suggest it might be a problem with the VE Smart Network.

Smart Networking should not be used when DVCC is enabled. Odd things can happen.

When set up the Lynx Smart BMS transfers the battery BTV status to the Cerbo, and the Cerbo digitally transmits charge enable (ATC) to the mppt's and Orion via Ve Direct cables to the chargers.

Disable Smart Networking, check the battery status via Victron Vonnect.

Check the Lynx Smart BMS via Victron Connect.

Thanks - I have removed them all from any VE.Smart Network. They are all connected by VE Direct cables. They are all showing in the device list on VRM and ion Cerbo Settings. All MPPTs are showing as External Control by BMS. Still there is no output from the MPPTs - nothing.

Batteries are draining - with 13.28v.

Any other ideas ?

Thanks.

@Miya Batteries are draining - with 13.28v.

13.28v is very healthy for a Li battery. Do_not_panic. About the voltage that the mppt's would re-bulk the batteries.

Post a screenshot from Victron Connect showing the mppt's "detailed" history.

I can't upload screenshots - as per this thread.

The MPPTs are set correctly at 14.2v (abs) and 13.5 (float). I know the battery voltage is healthy - but at 80% SOC the lithium should be BMS shout be letting the MPPTs charge the batteries to 13.5v and 100% SOC. I do not expect them to charge at 14.2v as a new charge cycle has not started.

All MPPTs were charging until lunch time yesterday - and just stopped.
