Hi @Josep morancho,
We are watching this space, Matthijs gave quite an interesting insight some time ago about how this is best handled (but please keep in mind this was several years ago).
We have just recently ventured for the first time into allowing for multiple Victron Lynx Smart BMS - https://www.victronenergy.com/media/pg/Lynx_Smart_BMS/en/paralleling-lynx-smart-bmses.html
There is nothing else to announce at this stage, but as we add support for larger and larger systems, the market demand to support multiple BMS increases as well.
Interessting. I have two Pylontech Towers with 8 batteries each.
It would be cool instead of logically making them into one 16 batteries "block" to have two "blocks" which are independenly managed, having failover redudancy and the like. Maybe even a third tower in the future without the rather fluky LV-Hub.
This has been discussed a few times previously.
Short answer is no, the trend is for battery manufacturers to support cascading their BMS's.
The cerbo allows multiple to be connected, but only one can be selected to manage the system, that is unlikely to change.
If you do some searching on the community you will find some references.
This was one that I remember:
https://community.victronenergy.com/questions/260143/battery-aggregator.html
I have been told that the new Hybrid Fronius PV inverter supports a battery bank. One solution could be to install the second battery bank (DIY battery bank brcause Pylontech is more expensive), as I need more power storage to manage load requirements during the night.
Would this work?
Thankd
