You have to program them to work together in parallel using "VE.Bus Quick Configure" (included in the VE.Config software package).
Hi @Denzel,
There are a few things to consider.
The units must be the same model firmware model number (first 4 digits, eg 2641) and depending on the age of your other unit, the same may not be available, so it may not be possible.
There are also important designs considerations such as perfectly balanced AC and DC wiring. This may be easy or difficult depending on your specific installation.
You must also be very careful with communications cables, and maintaining a continuous negative connection so as not to damage the communications cards.
There are more, and there is some detail in this manual: https://www.victronenergy.com/live/ve.bus:manual_parallel_and_three_phase_systems
It's strongly advised to see the help and support of someone who has experience and a good track record of success: https://www.victronenergy.com/where-to-buy
Lastly, a warning; if your batteries are not designed to deliver the additional current demanded, you may not get any extra useful power, and could even do damage to your system.
Additional resources still need to be added for this topic
