VM-3P75CT, strange values for amperage.

Hello all,

I recently installed the Victron VM-3P75CT as a preparation for a future ess system.
So at this moment this meter is my only Victron device yet.

I added it to home assistant and saw some strange values for amperage.
Besides the Victron meter I also have a P1 meter from homewizzard.

Somehow I'm not able/allowed to add pictures/files it says parsing failed.

Voltages and total power are comparable, however Amps are of quite a bit. The manual states something about that. Especially at lower powers I see massive differences. Somtimes multiplies by 4.

Because voltages and Power seem to be accurate is it possible to show the amps as in the P1 meter?

Thanks in advance

Hi @Huub van Vilsteren, the VM-3P75CT reports RMS current, a metric for the total current flowing through the wires. It seems to me that your P1 meter reports only the "active" part of the current (power divided by voltage). Since the two meters are actually reporting on a different metric, the reported current values don't match, but both are correct.
