Orion XS 12/50 power supply mode intermittently cutting out

After updating the firmware to 1.03, my Orion XS seems to cut power for maybe 0.5s intermittently. It is configured as a power supply outputting 12.8V limited to 24A. The input varies from 12.5 to 14.6V int an LiFePO4 battery.

It could be confirmation bias, but I did not notice this behavior before the update.

There is a new version that fixes a number of known issues. Try that.

Whoops! I was away from the camper and got the firmware versions wrong. It is running 1.04 now. I did not notice this issue on 1.03. I only notice it every couple hours so far.

It’s hard to track down (I’ll try to come up with a monitor after I’m home), but it seems to be happening at least twice a day, almost exactly 12 hours apart. That makes me think there’s something weird happening with the firmware. No errors are being thrown.

Another interesting thing: “Number of power-ups” does not get incremented when this happens.

I just confirmed with absolute certainty that the DC power bus maintains power. There is also no load on the system when it happens. I can tell, because my stereo (in standby mode) makes a popping noise and resets the time.

A soft reset of the Orion XS also did not work. If anyone at Victron wants to check out the debug logs or something (I do have a Cerbo GX) before I try a replacement, please speak up :)
