I have a 48v system being charged by PV and AC. We are seeing the AC charger taking over in the evening when the battery discharges by only 98%, we would like to allow the batteries to discharge longer than this and hoping to use the spare relay on the MPPT to achieve this, connecting it to the remote on/off of the AC charger. I tried using the Generator stop/start function to trigger the relay specifying a SOC percentage to turn it on and off, but it doesn't work. Am I missing a setting or is this not possible with my equipment? I have also looked if I could manually reduce the default minimal voltage of the charger but that doesn't appear possible.
