Adding Victron and battery to existing Solarmax SM4000P PV

Hi Victron Community,

my mom has an existing PV consisting of 14 x 270WP panels and a Solarmax SM4000P inverter. She would like to add a battery to the system for self consumption (not so much for possible grid failure). I believe this could be achieved by adding a Multiplus II (5000VA) (and battery) and connecting the Solarmax on the AC-Out, but I cannot find any information on whether or not the SM4000P supports frequency shifting. Hoping anyone on here might know.

Thanks in advance!

Enrico

Looked up the manual on line at https://www.manualslib.com/manual/886614/Solarmax-2000p.html?page=37#manual

This does have the parameters to set up the P(f) power frequency slope, so it should be possible.

Ah, thanks for your response! I did look at that manual online, but didn't know what to look for exactly. I will go through the configuration menu when I'm back there to see exactly what can be configured there.
