Victron Connect - Blue Smart IP65|13 - Advanced settings cannot set as default (save)

Hi.

As almost all batteries for this charger are LifePo4 each time as I turn it on and connect some battery I should enable Advanced settings.

And after some time I come back to check this setting is again disabled in app and battery is charging with (what?) unknown settings. History shows that no electricity or connection was lost.
Is there any way how to realy program some DEFAULT settings (with advanced mode) that will stay and will be applied all the time till I need something else?

"Advanced Settings" is a toggled menu in the app that you enter, change your settings, and then exit. The app will always toggle that off after you exit your settings in the app - it's not supposed to stay on.

Once you set your settings in the "Advanced" tab, those are your charger's settings now (until you change them again). They persist through a power cycle, or through connection to a different battery.

I understand. But why they are not supposed to stay on?

How I can determine on which settings next power cycle/iteration will be performed?

No control of situation or at least without monitoring precisely situation is dangerous and applies risks.

My batteries are responsible for sport angling boat and this means that I should be always sure that batteries on next competition day will be 100% ready.

My thinkings are that Victron is not correctly presenting their way how to deal with LifePo4.

They still are talking about LiOn just mentioning that these settings can be applied to LiFePo4.

But we all know that these are different types of batteries.

Please help me and LifePo4 exponentaly growing community to handle their batteries with trust and the ability to rely on Victron.

Your settings do stay on, as stated in my response. The expert mode toggle menu does not stay toggled. The settings you make while in the menu persist.
