The system comprises of three Multiplus 24/5000 in 3 phase configuration. Batteries are charged from two MPPT 150/70 Ve.can charge controllers.
Generator 3phase 30kVA
If the battery voltage drops below the low shutdown point 23.6V the multis start the generator. However, if what ever reason the generator fails to start the inverters shutdown. Low shut down is 21.6V, Inverter low restart is set to 23V.
The next day, the charge controllers kick in and the battery voltage increases well above the inverter restart threshold of 23V, in the last instance it was near 27V. However, the Multis do not startup on their own, they have to be switched off and then back on.
For extensive periods of time, this is an unattended site and although someone would have to go and trouble the issue with the generator, it would be better to have power as soon as possible.
Anyone experienced similar issue or knows why the inverters wont start on their own?
