Easysolar max combined charge set

I have an easysolar 2 GX. What I would like to do is set the maximum charge current to 50a from all sources. Right now, it is maxing the solar at 50a and the generator at 50a. But if I have the generator running and the sun comes out, it will easily jump above 50a combined. I was hoping that it would combine the 2 to a maximum of 50a. I don't really want to turn off the solar every time I want to use my generator. I can set this on a chinese brand, but there doesn't seem to be a setting for this in the victron

With DVCC enabled, this can be set globally, but be aware it will be ignored if feed-in is enabled.

Does this apply to DC Loads only? Because the relevant part of the manual says:

Current drawn from the system by the inverter/charger is compensated for. For example, if 10A is drawn to power AC loads and the limit is set to 50A, the system will allow the MPPT solar chargers to charge with a maximum of 60A.
