I can't find a parameter for modem GSM in the ColorControl GX

Hello Community. I can't find a parameter for modem GSM in the ColorControl GX settings. WiFi, GPS and Ethernet are all there! Could it be due to the firmware? Another customer who has the same product has it.

Hi @Robert M.O. Seidel,

The GX devices do not have a built in GSM modem.

To get this function requires an additional accessory the GX LTE 4G - https://www.victronenergy.com/communication-centres/gx-lte-4g

Hi

Indeed, but my Cerbo GX is still displaying the "GSM modem" option, like in its first picture and when selected it says "No GSM modem connected".

But I have 3.32.

It's possible that on 3.33 to be dynamically displayed based on the real modem presence?

Thanks,

Alex

screen-gsmgpsescapade.jpgscreen-gsmgpsgiacomo.jpgYes, thank you, I know that too. I've been working with Victron Energie for 6 years. I also want to install an LTE 4G router, as I have done several times before. I have plugged it in and the short flashing sequence confirms the internet connection. However, as I said, there is no "GSM modem" parameter in the programming. I have attached pictures. The first is from a boat where the program item is present and the second where it is missing. The firmware version of the CCGX is: v2.18. I just realized that the firmware of the working boot is 3.33. This is probably the reason.

Hi @Robert M.O. Seidel,

So that I understand correctly, has this now been resolved by updating the CCGX to the latest firmware?
