Whole house battery bank

I get free electric at night and I’m wanting to create a battery bank system to charge at night and then use the batteries to charge my house during the day , what type of converter/inverter will I need to do this? I’m wanting to have this be seamless switch from charging to then supply power to the house from the batteries .. thank you

Can also be expanded with solar (preferred)

Why not use your existing bank by charging the batteries at night and using their power during the day via scheduled charging? I have not actually done this, just an idea.
