Return or buy dongle?

I inadvertently bought a bluesolar 100/50 to wire in parallel with a smartsolar 150/35... Better to return it for the smartsolar 100/50 or just purchase the VE smart dongle? Thanks,

That depends on the system it is in?

Do you want a VE smart network or do you have a GX?

The smart dongle does not turn a blue into a smart. There are limitations:

There are a few limitations to be aware of:

  • The VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart Dongle is not compatible with Windows PC.

  • Synchronised charging is not possible with VE.Smart Networking.

  • Stored trends is not supported.

  • “Keep SOC” option is not supported for the Battery SOC on reset setting.

  • Bluetooth GATT service is not supported.

Thanks! I have a 150/35 smartsolar, and would like to be able to set up a VE smart network. Looks like I should return and get the 100/50 smartsolar.
