Hi, We recently bought the ip22 12/30 (3) but we have some diffulculties. How to wire/ connect a ip22 12/30 (3) to two batteries? Basically how to connect one minus entry to two batteries? Could any one help us?

@Pascal72 Ahhhh I see... yes, however, both options remain viable. For the purpose of charging you'll need to make the NEGs of both batteries common if they're not already... are they both connected to chassis, perchance? If so, you could arguably just connect the NEG out of the charger to the chassis so long as it's a robust connection. If not, a simple single-post distribution block would do the trick, like a Blue Sea Power Post (https://baymarinesupply.com/blue-sea-5-16-powerpost.html ) or something of the kind, then connect both batt NEGs and the charger NEG to the post. For roughly $12 (depending on where you buy it) plus some cable and a few lugs, that'd probably be the simplest and best solution for you.
Your negative should be common between the two batteries in your bank (assuming, based on your IP22 model number, that your two batteries are in parallel), so either A: connect the negative of both batteries to a NEG busbar (such as https://baymarinesupply.com/busbars-4-stud-250a.html ), and connect the NEG out of your charger to the same busbar (preferred method, but with caveats depending on the rest of your system) or B: Connect the NEG of Batt 1 to the NEG of Batt 2 using appropriately-sized cable and connect the NEG out of your charger to the NEG post of Batt 1 (or 2). There are many other types of distribution blocks / busbars available depending on your needs / available space / system design... the above is just an example of a good one, though it may not meet your particular requirements.
Thanks for the answer but the batteries are not in parallel but are a separate service battery and a separate start battery. Is option b then also applicable? @Justin Cook thanks
