Disable battery charging in the morning

I have my own WattRouter that optimizes my household Victron.jpgconsumption. I'd like to extend it with a feature that disables battery charging in the morning - pushing battery charging to a later time.

The goal is to sell PV power at higher prices at SPOT (7:00 - 10:00 AM) in the morning and then charge the battery at lower feed-in tariffs.

Everything else must be business as usual - especially the delivery of PV to the house.

If you use the ESS assistant you can use scheduled charging for that

How can I achieve that?
A link to the documentation or anything else would be useful... I'm really not wise to this answer and it didn't help me much :-(

Here is the ess installation guide:

Section 4 is about scheduled charging

I would like to revisit this question as the OP didn't specify DC vs AC PV and I think that changes the solution. An option might be to set the ChargeCurrent to 0 between 7am and 10am but that will not limit DC PV charging, if that is the case here but might work for AC PV - not sure.

If DC PV is in play, is there a way to achieve the same result as the original question? Feed back to grid between 7am and 10am but power the house and maintain MinSOC during that time.

A few people have asked me the same question , but for DC PV, and I don't have a solution.

i have only DC PV and used to do that to with ESS and scheduled charging,

discharge battery at night and early morning, then in morning PV starts and when PV at a scheduled time start charging the batterys, in the event of surpluss always to loads/grid
