Can I alter the battery charge profile ( AGM to lithium) on a Multiplus 12/70/1600 Victron inverter charger from my Cerbo without altering the toggle switches.

Yes, the Cerbo overrides the dip switches, as long as override by remote is on.
You can check the override, in the VRM dashboard it will show a switch icon.
Yes but you need a laptop, good internet and the VRM to do so. Possibly need to update the firmware first
