I have 2 instances of nr installed. one on cerbo, and 1 on my windows11 laptop. via chrome i can access my w11 install and work in the editor. trying to access cerbo via http://cerboIP:1880 times out. however, i can access nr via the Vrm desktop install, but the flows are grayed out.
thoughts how to remedy access?
ps i have elevated root access to superuser

yes... as i said i can access it via vrm, but existing flows r grayed out. however, just connected to nr via VRM again, created a new floe and worked fine. deleted "grayed out" flow.

k....learning new fact, grayed out is "disabled".
got ideas why i cant launch editor and target my cerbo NR install directly?
https://venus.local:1881 does not work for me. only ....localhost:1881 works. is this a clue since url access is diff?
anybody have an idea why my access is not working correctly?
i use my ip to access the cerbo, not the dns name. thats not working as mentioned above. i can successfully go to desktop vrm and bring up NR without isse. this being the case why cant i access directly, is my big ? .
just tried a simple ping ip to my cerbos ip. it failed with a timeout. wierd, i can access it via other tools like my vrm app. ideas?

does this give you network gurus some hint?
the above got me thinking.... i am running my laptop on my home net and my cerbo is connected on my rv net. i connected my laptop to my rv net and bamb, i could access nr on my cerbo.
not a big network person so not sure how to resolve this, but seems like i should be able to connect from my home net to cerbo on my rv net. thoughts on how to resolve?
sorry for all lower case, working with 1 hand due to shoulder surgery....so keyboard pecking is enabled.
does the solution(s) being tossed here speak to this, sounds to me like they do?
