VRM on Android not working

I noticed yesterday (March 28 2024) that VRM on my Android phone would not load (permanent white screen). Same today. Have found out that:

VRM not showing in Play Store on from my phone (was going to re-install!)

VRM does show up in Play Store on PC and iphone as expected.

VRM working as usual on PC.

VRM Portal Changelog says there was an update on March 28.

I am beginning to wonder whether this last update means by phone running Android 7 is no longer supported (which would make me very sad! I like my phone and use it to monitor my installations daily!)

Can anyone shed light on any of the above?

Up to 8 attachments (including images) can be used with a maximum of 190.8 MiB each and 286.6 MiB total.

VRM is still in the play store for me, but I'm on a later android release. You may be correct about needing to upgrade your android version.

Much as you like the old phone, the newer releases have important security updates. And using a release as old as that is a security risk.

I'm on the beta releases, these require Android 9 or higher at the moment.

IIRC Android 7 hasn't been supported for some time, it is too far behind.

It was dropped completely in the VC app, probably the same for the rest.

Upgrade time.
