Your Kipor should be ok, You can control it's output level from within the CCGX, so can be set to whatever you decide is a comfortable output. It's possible the Multi will baulk at it's power quality, but that's fixable. Ask if it happens.

So just to be clear all information about BYD battery's on victrons Battery Compatibility page is correct?

Also does easysolar 5kva 48 5000 use CCGX or Venus system.

It should be current, else our eft/byd man would have had it fixed. (Note his response time was just 8 minutes yesterday, that's good service). I'd be happy buying byd, and may well do when my Pb's croak. Just make sure you size them large enough to cover the rated demand of the Multi 5000 inside your Easy.

The CCGX and VenusGX both use the Venus OS firmware, and for you will be functionally identical. Some hardware differences that shouldn't impact you. The CCGX is the more expensive unit because of the screen, which you'll find handy with your 'remote' installation.

Ok sorry. I think I was reading the chart incorrectly.

So with the byd pro 2.5 I will need 1 battery module for self consumption and 3 battery modules to meet single phase minimum requirements totalling 4 battery modules
