Ignore BMS - New feature request for MPPT Firmware 1.61

For hybrid installations incorporating multiple chemistries within the same system, enabling MPPTs to disregard the BMS would prove advantageous. This flexibility would permit the charging of non-LFP chemistries, such as AGM, while retaining network-based access to MPPTs through CerboGX. Currently, due to the absence of this feature, users are compelled to refrain from connecting MPPTs to the network, as the MPPT automatically switches to 'slave' mode upon detecting the presence of a BMS.

Maybe a dumb question, but how - on the same system as you've said - can be harmonized the different voltages of different chemistries?

Or the DC(s) never "meet" and only AC(s) are "shared"?

In our case using Cyrix-Li-Ct so DC "meet" only when BMS + Cyrix + voltages (aka charge source) conditions are met using logical AND (when BMS enters re-bulk for example; by other words DC meets when BMS CVL is in the range of AGM). In all other cases the DC(s) are not "meeting" hence there is a need to bulk/absorb/float AGM in completely different mode from LFP (LFP open circuit voltage < AGM bulk/absorb/float voltage).
