MPPT 75/15 - Smart Connect does not detect charging

I newly installed Smart Solar MPPT 75/15 on my boat and connected solar panel (12v, 100w) but:

  1. As shown on screen shot attached, Smart Connect says voltage from solar panel is very low and no charging is occurring
  2. Voltage measured at the inlet of Smart Solar is high enough.
  3. More curiously, the ammeter of my boat shows the charging to the batteries is occurring.
  4. Blue ramp at the bottom of three is blinking during above process

I think you have connected the solar panel to the load terminal instead to the PV-terminal.

Thank you very much for your prompt advice. Yes, I did connect a solar panel on to Load terminal. Have I made awful mistake? Should the panel be connected on to PV?

Yes the solar panel must connected to PV(photovoltaic).

Your measuring the voltage of the load terminals.

The most common problem for low PV voltage is a blown fuse/breaker. Also double check that you have connected the PV polarity correct.
