We have a problem with our starter battery charger, Orion Smart 24V|12V. The charger is hot all the time, even after we stay in one place for a few days and it should have finished charging long ago. The voltage meter on our control panel shows crazy readings: they fluctuate between 12.4V and 13.8V. When we turn off the charger via bluetooth, the voltage stabilizes at around 13.2V - which might mean that the charger does charge the battery but stays hot and drawi power.
The battery is a "12V Victron Gel Deep Cycle Battery".
The bow battery charger (24V|24V) does not have such problems: it gets warmer when it charges but cools down when it's finished.
Do you know if this can be something wrong with the settings or with the hardware?
