I've been fiddling for a while now with a DC-to-DC charger 12 to 24 and had no luck recharging it with a smart MPPT 75/15 and 2 solar panels 160w 8.75 amp.
When connected to load the output trips as it's demanding too much power and when connected to the battery it's constantly switching on and off.
I tried to use the MPPT regulator on its own as is capable of 24 v but the panels arent getting above 26 v and if I understand well the regulator won't kick in until 5 v above the charge of the battery.
Can anyone help me clarify if I got this right to this point and perhaps the only way is to add more panels?
